Youth Swim Lessons

Available All Year

Our program offers a complete swimming progression for the swimmer and allows the parent to better know how their swimmer is growing. There will be mid-session reports and certificates of completion with clear understanding of your child's skill level. This curriculum accommodates students of varying abilities to help foster a sense of achievement as swimmers progress between levels. Through this approach, advanced swimmers flow more easily to high levels while swimmers who need more instruction can learn at their own pace. This results in more confident swimmers who stick with lessons and develop a love for swimming that can last a lifetime!

Do you have a love for the water and swimming? Are you a triathlete, open water swimmer, regular lap swimmer or just love to swim? We welcome you to come and join your fellow swimmers and help achieve your goals. Our YMCA coach has over 40 years of experience and will foster a fun and competitive environment for all types of swimmers to thrive and grow in.

Aqua Stand Up

Available Monthly

This exciting and fun small group training program inspired by paddle boarding mixed with different fitness techniques like H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training), Pilates, Yoga and muscular conditioning. It is one of the best balance workouts choreographed to music inspired by Stand Up Paddle Boarding. This program is great for all ages, the board is very stable so you don' need to be an expert to stand up on it. Come and check it out!

Intro to Paddleboarding

Learning how to paddleboard starts with learning how to stand and balance oneself on the board. Focusing on the basics and fundamentals involved in paddleboarding, this class offers low impact exercises to improve on your balance, strength, and endurance. The board is very stable and participants begin with sitting or kneeling before progressing to standing fully.

Preschool Family Swim

Come and enjoy the opportunity to play, swim and build confidence with your children ages 5 & under during a quiet time in the pool. Children must have an accompanying parent or guardian in the water within arms reach at all times Lifejackets must also be coast guard approved. No water wings please.

Swim Team

Join the YMCA GPS Swim Team. Improve your skills, set personal goals and achieve them with the camaraderie of other swimmers. Swimming develops endurance, strength, and flexibility! Swim team is a great off season sport. Available options run year-round or summer only.
