7th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta

THE CHALLENGE….Design and build a person-powered corrugated cardboard boat
capable of racing 25 meters (the length of the pool).

3 vs 3 Basketball Tournament

March 7 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

March 7th, 2020 (9am start time)
This one day 3 vs 3 tournament is open to individuals 5th-12th Grade & 18+ Divisions. (Divisions may
be combined in the 5th-12th grades if numbers are low) The tournament will be played at the Grants
Pass Y. The YMCA will attempt to help free agent players find a team, however it is recommended
that players have prearranged teams. Teams register with a max roster of 4 players. Individual’s
register separately.

Lifeguard Training

March 23 - March 27

Spend your Spring Break learning skills that will serve you for “life”!
• Training includes lifeguarding, CPR, first-aid and AED
• Participants must attend all days of training
• Participants must be able to swim 300 yards
• Tryouts and class materials pick up will be March 14th at 9am at the Y
• Certification is good for 2 years.
March 23rd-March 27th
Members: $175
Non-members: $225
Limited to 10 participants
Students need to bring water, lunch, snacks, swimming suit, manual and CPR mask. Manual and mask will be available
